We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer with 9+ years of total software engineering experience in Python and ReactJS to join our partner that is an Australian ASX listed MedTech company.
Requirements:
- 9+ years of professional experience building and maintaining end-to-end web applications
- Strong experience with Python backend development, including frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI - (Experience with Django is acceptable)
- Proven experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs and working with service-based architectures - (Microservices experience is a plus, not mandatory)
- Ability to write unit and integration tests using PyTest or similar testing frameworks
- Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript and modern React (hooks, component-based UI)
- Exposure to cloud environments, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to frontend testing practices and tools (e.g. Jest, React Testing Library)
- Strong experience using Git and modern development workflows
Responsibilities:
- Software development and testing
- Development of existing and new projects
- Assist in the preparation and documentation of project requirements, specifications, and project plan within Confluence & Jira
- Conduct research on emerging application development software products, technologies, languages, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts
- Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades
- Recommend, schedule, and create management reports
- Assist in the development and maintenance of user manuals and guidelines within Confluence
- User interface development and optimization
